A little bit about me...

I just want to clear the air a little for anyone who reads my blog. I am not a Republican. I am not a Democrat. I am not a Conservative. I am not a Liberal. I'm that person who is right in the middle. My voting history is Republican/Conservative for the simple reason that I haven't seen a credible Democrat worth voting for yet. What I would really love to see is a 3rd party win. I don't know if the 3rd parties will ever push their way past the elephants and donkeys in my lifetime, but I certainly hope so! The 2 party representations that have taken over this Country have not seemed to come to conclusions on how to solve problems. These problems have gotten increasing worse over the past 8 years, and as far as the current administration goes, I haven't yet seen a light at the end of the tunnel. Because the elephants and the donkeys can never seem to agree on anything, why don’t we start voting for the middle-of-the-roaders, who can make unbiased decisions? Decisions that have the people's best interest in mind, not decisions that have a particular party's best interest in mind.

the top reason I get when I bring up why the voted for him, the bumper stickers. Hope N Change. Very few knew of his his past, and when told, well again change. I guess it isnt a racist comment when they say fat old white guys, huh :)

  2. I have yet to hear a credible reason as to why anyone voted for him. You are so right about the "fat old white guys" comment! There always has been a double standard as far as "racist" goes! I appreciate your feedback! I'll def. check out your blog as well!

  3. lol John, your first sentence made me laugh.

Thanks for the post! I am a middle-of-the-road person myself, although I have usually left the road entirely. I can be annoyingly non-committal debating certain subjects. And, I look forward to seeing more posts from you in the future!

  4. AMEN! I have also ended up voting mainly republican with a few ticks for "constitutionalist" or some other odd-party person who seemed to speak my language. The Republican vs Democrat choice has become merely a Bad vs Worse choice! But it's far too media controled to ever simply be a "mind of the people" choice.
